Shiny Toy Guns - “Ghost Town”

A little less keyboard-based atmospheres and a little more guitar-based forcefulness (at least in terms of the singles) than the last record.  Definitely darker and more mature, but still not a complete move left-of-center.  Sisley Treasure is a competent vocalist, but I’ll always have the biggest crush on Carah AND her voice.

I’ll be damned if this doesn’t get lodged in your brain, though.

 I gotta agree here Jay.  Sisley may not be Carah but she’s not half bad.  Catchy song, but Im still not sold that this is the same ol Shiny Toy Guns that I fell in love with.  Guess Ill have to give the rest of the album a listen.
